Welcome to Medical Teaching

Medical Teaching is an electronic resource that has been produced for medical school tutors in Africa who have difficulty in finding useful resources to assist in the preparation of lectures, seminars etc for students. We think that the resources will also be useful to all health personnel who have a training role, whether they be doctors, nurses or others in the health professions. The resources included are arranged by subject and by type of resource (database, discussion list, teaching resource etc). Each topic can be identified both by selecting subjects or resource type via the Contents listing on the left-hand side of each page or, alternatively, using the search window for keyword searching. Each resource has a short description together with a hypertext link to the website. Inevitably, there are gaps in the subjects listed in the Subject Resources section; users looking for such materials should look under General Medical Websites (such as Supercourse, e-Medicine, Karolinska Institutet) which cover most of the medical and health specialties.
