A Treatment for Back Pain
If you suffer from back pain is probably not as acupuncture as a treatment until you’ve used a number of other options. However, acupuncture is a form of ancient Chinese medicine that has been in place for over 2500 years and during this time has been used to alleviate back pain, especially in modern times.Although not always a part of Western medicine, these days the doctor is very likely that you refer to this treatment if you suffer from back or neck pain, whether chronic or following an accident or injury.
If you want this treatment, you may want to know a bit about how it works. The general perception is that the body has twenty models of energy flow called meridians or channels. Through these routes, it is estimated that the life force or vital energy flow called Qi and is considered crucial to maintaining good health. There are over 2,000 points on our bodies that connect to the highway, and it is these points that the extremely fine needles inserted, this occurs in varying combinations depending on the specific treatment needed. These actions are considered either correct the flow of qi, or reinforce it.
Acupuncturist will use up to 20 metal needles during a treatment session and the depth at which they are inserted depends on the region, the deeper fatty or muscle need more penetration and scalp, for example would be just under the surface. The practitioner may rotate the needle one way or another depending on what they are trying to achieve in my personal experience, they were on deployment, then back to the middle of the session. At no time does the treatment painful, which is a mere sensation of needles enter, and they do not feel strong, because unlike the needles used for injections, is an acupuncture needle is a reported low, with no sharp edges. They are also very thin, about 20 times thinner than a needle. In my experience, the hardest part of the treatment is the same position without moving up to 30 minutes, especially if you suffer from back pain or similar.
